Who Is Frank Rod?

Frank Rod is a Venezuelan-born film director, actor, video producer and musician (currently established in Europe), with over a decade of experience creating cinematic content for global brands and platforms. Through Video Content Shop LLC, he helps companies and creatives transform ideas into high-quality commercial videos, films, and cinematic content — fast, remotely, and with powerful storytelling. He has worked with Netflix (2 movies - The Swimmers and Last Call for Istanbul), AliExpress, Clear Shampoo, Finish dishwasher (Super Bowl 2024) and Chris Brown (Global launch in 2024), and other brands such as Midwest Distribution, Funplus (App games), It also has its original films licensed by platforms such as Prime Video, Apple TV, Kweli TV, Flixxo, and Rapido TV. Inspired by creators like Adam Sandler and Reese Witherspoon, who lead their own productions while starring in them, Frank Rod brings the same creative control and versatility. His frequent cameos and lead roles add a personal signature to each project — blending production leadership with on-screen presence to deliver distinctive, brand-driven content.

Professional career

Frank Rod began his career in the audiovisual world over a decade ago, writing scripts and creating storyboards for Glocalidad, a Latin American TV show focused on innovation, travel, and technology. A multidisciplinary creative from a young age, he had his first feature script, '10 Hours from Eris,' picked up at auction in 2013 by a U.S. production company, while retaining the rights.

In 2014, , he partnered with Adonay Records, producing music videos and original content. By 2015, he was creating commercials for American and Chinese brands, and later in 2018 for Albatros Airlines. Selected in 2019 by Cinemadamare Film campus (Rome-Italy), he trained further as a director and actor across Milan, Rome, Cerveteri, and Napole, at the same time, worked on 2 mini series "24 hours back" and "Atmosphere", with teams and actors from different countries (including France and Japan).

From 2020 onward, Frank filmed in Kenya, produced travel series in Russia, and managed international teams across Turkey and Europe. In 2022 joins "Video Content Shop LLC" to provide remote audiovisual production services, becoming a fundamental part of VCS due to its experience.  In 2023 Win Best Director Award at the Golden Bridge Istanbul Film Festival. Also between 2022 and 2024, he collaborated on Netflix originals films, along with Giovanni Ajans. During this time he has specialized in advertising, commercial videos, ads, and filmed content.
